Notable Changes from the Previous Year

The Calligraphy Night Edition is the new flagship model in this lineup, with a refined black leather interior. The base model received more standard features like single-zone rear and dual-zone automatic climate controls. The Limited comes from the factory with ambient interior lighting, and there are rear-side window shades for the XRT.  

Comfort and Cargo

The new Palisade has enough space to comfortably seat up to eight passengers. The driver’s seat has an integrated memory system, power eight-way adjustments, and four-way lumbar support. A heated steering wheel provides more comfort while driving; you can opt for heated and ventilated front and second rows of seats. Let the daylight in with an available dual-pane sunroof with tilt and slide features.

If you want to add more luxury to the interior space, quilted Nappa leather upholstery is available. The smart power liftgate lets you load and unload your luggage quickly, opening and closing via a key fob equipped with proximity key technology. Technology

All models have Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Your smartphone can interact with a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, where you’ll find your favourite apps, music, and more. There’s an available wireless charging pad on the centre console. This system also allows you to use voice commands and text messages.  

The new Palisade is enormous, but you don’t need to raise your voice to be heard across the cabin. Use the DriverTalk intercom to communicate easily with everyone, and turn on the Quiet Mode, which lowers the speaker volume in the backseats. Still, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon system is available if you want a premium audio system.

The Hyundai’s Bluelink connect vehicle system is standard across the lineup. This app allows drivers to control a host of features straight from their smartphones. The system includes climate controls, remote lock/unlock, smart diagnostics, remote start, and many more features.  

Safety Technologies

The new Palisade has high-end technologies to improve driveability and safety. There’s a blind spot monitoring system available, with live footage of the blind zone on the touchscreen display. Available features include a head-up display with a speedometer, navigation, and surround-view display. 

All models have standard adaptive cruise control with stop/go, lane departure warning with lane keeping assist, parking distance warning (reverse), safe exit assist, driver attention warning, and an advanced forward collision avoidance system to assist with pedestrian, junction-crossing, and junction-turning detection.
